Jen Estes of Via Entertainment practices her lines while Mike Collins looks on. Blackbird Marketing, Four Wire Productions and Phil Lucero have teamed up to develop Online Video Assets, a web content tool to help companies capitalize on their websites by using video assets to drive and maintain site traffic. Jen is one of the spokespersons available to companies who are looking for professional help to communicate to their clients.
Transwest and ESPN analyst Mark Schlereth stopped by Transmission Studio this week to shoot a bunch of intro spots for their websites. Here’s Phil checking the camera while overseeing production in the studio for Blackbird Marketing and Design & Four Wire Productions.
Running the JimmyJib camera crane at the 2010 Red Bull MX1 International Motocross Championships last weekend at the Thunder Valley MX track in Lakewood, CO. ”Ready camera eleven… take eleven…Niiiccee!” I had the best spot in the house making a complete 360˚ camera/arm move as we put together a great show that aired all over Europe. Again, Yellow Gal HD assembled an awesome team and we killed it. Tens of thousands of fans showed up and the broadcast reached millions. A shout out to my utility Rob who helped me build and strike as well as capture this action shot of me from my Blackberry!
The Lightgroup chose Transmission Studio for their video production on August 19th. Here Bill LeVasseur and Michelle Tuttle of Maximum Talent prepare for their next scene while producer Kevin Skattum, director John Evans and DP Gil Barkey set-up the for the shot. It made for a very interesting day because the producers used ReflecMedia for the key effect and we had a green light ring on the hard camera with a blue light ring on the camera crane. The colors only crossed when the cameras were within about a 10-15 degree angle of each other. To prevent overlap we just avoided putting the cameras close enough together to cause any disruption and the reflective background cooperated. Other than the Ice Cream Man and his loudspeaker outside the backdoor, the shoot went smoothly.
Check out this unforgettable battle between “Old School” Tommy Bouchet and Hollywood JDT in the Fusion Pro Wrestling ring at Red Lion Inn in Denver, CO. WWE can’t touch it, MMA are a bunch of namby pambys and TNT…well you know about TNT. This is the real deal. The best indie show around and you will not be disappointed. Stay tuned for more FPW including special guest appearances from the best in the business.
Welcome to another installment of Fusion Pro Wrestling. From the lovely confines of The Red Lion Inn Denver, our fusion stars take it to the mat for more ball-busting entertainment like never before. In this tag-team match Dustin Urich and Hannibal take on wildman Amish Warrior and Morales. Better than WWE and TNT combined, the Fusion Pro Wrestling show will have you jumping out of your seat screaming for more. So stay Tuned as Phil Lucero Productions brings you all new series of professional wrestling matches from Denver, Colorado!
This photo is from a shoot with MOOV at Transmission Studio. Lori and Jeff needed to record a cake with the candles blowing out and smoke rising into the air. We started with an overhead light, a bounce fill and some backlight for the smoke. Then we shot the scene several times, each time removing one light from the equation. This gave them many options to work with which will make for a tough choice, as they all turned out really good. Photo by Tom Hoch
This is the Active Force Foundation fundraising video we recently completed. Working with Dom Cimino and the Wounded Warriors program from Fort Carson we were on hand to to document functions that Active Force Foundation organizes to help athletes and soldiers who have been injured begin to heal again through events that promote an active lifestyle. Please check out the video and the websites and then donate anything you can to help these programs continue.
More pictures from the stage at Nightvision 2010. I took these on the second day of the music festival as I wandered around during soundcheck and set-up. Apparently the band Third Day prefers Fender and Gretch guitars. Don’t you?
The second shot is of the stage before Third Day came on. It was late and there were delays. But as you know, the Show must go on.
The lighting crew readies a truss full of Par lights during set-up today for Nightvision Music Festival in Olathe, CO. I had a few minutes down time when I took this picture while waiting for the stage crew to clear water from the roof over the main stage. A big storm roared through the town and nearly ripped the tent from its moorings. It held us up all afternoon and we didn’t finish set-up until 9pm!
This weekend I’m working with the Yellow Gal Productions video crew and their new HD production trailer for the two day festival.
