Sunday really warmed up in Denver. After a spring snowfall and temperatures in the thirties, the sun broke through and gave the city a taste of the warm weather to come. I saw this view at Smith and Holly in North Denver on Saturday, but I didn’t have my camera with me, so I went back on Sunday hoping the train cars would still be there. These are Union Pacific Railroad cars waiting to be picked up. Although the view with snow on the ground Saturday is what got my attention, the position of the cars with the phone poles and mountains in the background made this view attractive to me. I’m shooting the Nikon D700 with a Nikor 300mm telephoto lens. The picture was taken at 3:20pm using 1/4000 shutter at F 5.6 with the ISO is set at 400. I ran the auto levels and color in Photoshop to brighten the image. Phil Lucero Productions also offers professional photography services specializing in architectural imagery and timelapse.
