Click the Wings Over The Rockies logo to see some photos from our recent production to raise money for the new WOR Exploration of Flight education center at Centennial Airport in Colorado. Harrison Ford was there for a tour of the site and to help with the fundraising effort. It was a special priveledge for the entire crew to work with Mr. Ford and everyone did a fantastic job that day. Special thanks to Dave Dickerson for putting it all together and to Sandra Tooley for the great photos.
Corey Lucero snapped this photo during our shoot for Metro Denver Economic Development Corporation. Here, Governor John Hickenlooper notifies Tom Clark AKA Dr. Economy that he is onto the secret plan. What secret plan you ask? The plan to recruit digital agents to help promote the region as a top destination for innovative companies and people. As usual, Janet and the MDEDC team wrote a great script and Tom was fantastic in the lead role. Governor Hickenlooper did a bang up job, too, and the video was a great success at the MDEDC Annual Luncheon!
This is a production shot by Greg Rodriguez during a shoot at the State Capitol on Wednesday. We were covering the Our Kids Your Kids child abuse prevention rally for Pure. This was a really great event to help promote awareness for a fantastic cause. Phil shot and edited a video news release and Greg took stills for print during the noontime rally. Several foster children, business leaders and state legislators came out to speak about the problem of neglected and abused children and to help promote CASA, a non-profit entity that helps foster children find homes.
The Air Force Academy Cadet Chapel in Colorado Springs, Colorado is one of the most unique structures in the US and is home to any and all religious denominations. Protestants, Catholics, Jews, Muslims, Buddhists and Native Americans, among others, practice their religions under one roof. After 50 years of service to all faiths, the chapel is sustaining structural damage due to poor drainage and ever changing structural stresses caused by the extreme Colorado environment. URS Corporation has enlisted our help with photography for a historical documentary and we had the opportunity to tour the chapel during our preliminary location scout. Click the thumbnail below to see some of the photos I took during the tour.
Clint Culley assists Jeremy Make with his microphone during our shoot at Post Modern Wednesday afternoon. Pure Brand Communications is producing a welcome video for Bellco Credit Union and Megan Cranston from Post Modern hired PL Productions with the new Dana Dolly to get the shots. This was our premier shoot with the new addition and it performed flawlessly even with all the weight of the HDX900 and the old-school teleprompter.

Select the shot below to see some photos of The Drunken Bachelor shoot at Transmission Studio last Sunday. American Idol Aspen Auditions contestant Ashlie-Amber Harris stopped by to help the Bachelors re-create her audition with the help of a transcript secretly obtained by show producer Kevin Hart.
Spent a great Saturday night at the studio with producer Nick Torres and the crew from Emergency Room shooting the video for Myke Charles‘ new single C.L.A.P. at Transmission Studio. Myke and his acapella group Urban Method made it into the top three finalists on NBC’s The Sing-Off due in part to Myke’s outstanding performance on the show! The sweet rebuilt ’64 Chevelle on stage is owned by Rick Sauser who generously brought the car down to be in the video. Props to director Natche Greene and DP Vince Lance for putting together a fantastic production and to Nisha Martin for looking fabulous. Please check Myke out on Twitter and Facebook.

Federico and Cindy Pena stopped by Transmission Studio to record segments for the CLLARO / Bernie Valdez Awards Reception. We were honored to host the former Denver mayor and Secretary of Transportation/Energy in our studio and found Mr. and Mrs. Pena to be super nice people. No wonder he made such a great mayor! Pictured from left to right are – CLLARO Executive Director Olivia Mendoza, the Honorable Judge Roger Cisneros (ret.), Cindy and Secretary Federico Pena, CLLARO Operations Manager Kathy Maestas, Elevation Creation’s Daniel Montano and Transmission Studio owners Vera and Phil Lucero.

Last week Leereedy Xylem shot some timelapse composites at Transmission Studio for Similasan, a Swiss company that provides homeopathic products for eye strain. Creative director Ryan Lee and photographer Ryan Policky along with Tom Hoch and Heather Wallace spent the day recording actors who will be composited into the scenes and turned into banner ads for Similasan.
